We got a call the other day from a high school graduate that we had done photos for a few months ago.  His mother and he were entering a pairs fitness competition and needed some new shots of them together.  This was such a fun photo shoot.  Both of them had a lot of energy and were a blast to work with.  I’ve included just a few images from the shoot, but will post more photos later.

About a week ago I photographed Hattie for some new portfolio images she was needing.  She had won a model portfolio photo shoot as part of a promotion we were running with FiveStarr Modeling Agency.  I photographed Hattie at the studio.  Whenever I shoot models, I like for them to come with as many different outfits and looks as possible.  That way I can use different backgrounds and outdoor locations to suit their look.

This was the first time photographing Kim and Bryce, but I think you can see that they both know how to model for the camera!  They are both very photogenic.  The entire engagement photo session was done at our Orem studio.  We started shooting inside, but there are some really great little nooks, walls, doorways and stairs to shoot on outside the studio.

I’ve worked with Kim only one other time, so I was excited to shoot her bridal portraits for her.  She had this great idea of bringing in some wallpaper she had found with a cool pattern on it.  Kim had a great look and her experience as a model really came through in her bridals.  I love shooting bridals in the studio.  There’s just a certain elegance and sophistication about indoor bridals.  I certainly shoot my fair share of bridals outdoor at places like Sundance and Thanksgiving Point, but I jump at the chance to shoot bridals in the studio!

Last week I photographed Sara Nicole as part of a senior graduation / model portfolio shoot.  This was her first official model photo shoot in a studio.  I was very surprised at how well she did!  There were so many great images that came out of this photo shoot.  I’ve included just a few for you to look at and critique.

My cousin Mary is getting married in December and its time to take some engagement photos.  We decided to that just one look wouldn’t do so we went to three different locations.  First, we went up Provo Canyon, above southfork park where the fall colors are just incredible!  After, we went for an urban look in the riverwoods shopping area.  Finally, it was back to Studio216 for some formal photos.  We love being able to shoot at different locations for different looks.  Engagement photos are a big deal and its important to get as many different looks as possible.
